At Genesee Abbey we recently celebrated the grand opening of the renovated gatehouse area. The celebration began at 4:30 PM with an organ recital and accompanied by abbey schola for one piece. This was followed by Vespers at 5:00, a procession and blessing of Merton Hall and Abbey Bread Store concluding with a reception for our guests in Merton Hall.
