Br. Paul Quenon’s 2018 book “In Praise of the Useless Life: A Monk’s Memoir” recently earned first place in the memoir category from the Catholic Press Association. It also earned second place for best cover art.

Recounting Br. Paul’s more than five decades of experience as a monk of Gethsemani Abbey. “In Praise of the Useless Life: A Monk’s Memoir” is available online and in select stores.

The “memoir” category is new for this year’s CPA Book Awards, meaning Br. Paul’s book is the first-ever recipient of the CPA Book Award for a Memoir.
