Gethsemani Abbey has a new novice. After completing his six-month postulancy, Danny Hathorn entered the novitiate on Nov. 17.

In addition to receiving the novice scapular, cincture and cloak, he also received a new name – Br. Godric.

As a novice, Br. Godric will continue his studies under the Novice Master and begin taking on some new duties.

Please pray for Br. Godric and all the Order’s monks and nuns in formation.
