Jamison Henry entered the Abbey of Gethsemani as a postulant on Feb. 7. He joins two other postulants and a novice in formation in Gethsemani’s novitiate.

After six months, Jamison can request to be accepted as a novice. At that point, he will take a monastic name and habit, be addressed as “Brother” and begin taking on additional responsibilities in the community.
